1. 처리하는 항목

• 로그인하지 않고 쓸 때: 앱이 스스로 기기 밖으로 보내는 정보가 없습니다(광고는 8절). 오늘의 한 장, 갈래, 출처는 앱에 실린 꾸러미에서 나오고, 매일 알림은 서버 없이 기기가 스스로 띄웁니다. 읽어 주기는 읽을 글을 기기의 음성 합성(Android · iOS의 것)에 넘깁니다. 그 엔진이 기기 안의 음성으로 읽는지 온라인 음성을 쓰는지는 기기와 그 사람의 설정에 달렸고, 앱이 정하지 않습니다.
• 모두 ID로 로그인하면: 로그인은 고를 수 있고, 하지 않아도 모든 기능을 씁니다. 로그인은 모두 ID(mid.modoo.io)가 기기의 브라우저 창에서 처리하며, 앱은 비밀번호를 받지 않습니다. 로그인 화면을 그 사람의 언어로 띄우려고 로그인 창의 주소에 화면 언어와 기기의 언어 선호 순서(다섯까지)를 싣습니다. 로그인이 끝나면 앱은 모두 ID에서 회원 번호와 아이디를 받아 기기에 적어 둡니다. 이메일 주소는 받아도 기기에 적지 않습니다. 계정을 바꾼 것을 알아보려고 이 기기에서 전에 로그인했던 회원 번호 둘을 기기에 남깁니다. 이 판은 북마크 동기화를 닫아 두어, 로그인해도 본체(modoo.io)에 아무것도 보내지 않고 모두 ID가 준 로그인 확인 값(토큰)은 받은 자리에서 버립니다.
• 기기에만 남는 것: 앱 전용 자료 폴더의 기록 파일(북마크 — 카드 번호, 저장한 때, 지운 표시 · 동기화 상태 칸 — 이 판은 보내지 않습니다 · 로그인했다면 회원 번호, 아이디, 전에 로그인했던 회원 번호 둘)과 설정 파일(화면 · 카드 · 대역 언어, 매일 알림의 켬 · 시각 · 담을 것, 하루가 바뀌는 시각). 두 파일마다 바로 앞에 저장한 판 한 벌을 보관본으로 두고, 읽지 못한 파일은 지우거나 덮어쓰지 않고 옆에 따로 둡니다(둘 다 위와 같은 내용입니다). 더 새 판의 앱이 쓴 파일은 열지도 쓰지도 않고 「앱을 업데이트한 뒤 열어 주세요」를 보입니다.
• 읽지 못한 파일 꺼내기: 따로 둔 파일과 더 새 판의 앱이 쓴 파일은 그 사람이 설정 「내 기록」의 「읽지 못한 파일」에서 「꺼내기」를 누를 때만 기기의 공유 창으로 나갑니다(바이트 그대로 · 저장할 곳은 그 사람이 고릅니다). 앱이 스스로 기기 밖으로 보내지 않습니다.
• 매일 알림: 「매일 알림」을 켜면 앞으로 60일치 알림(때, 제목, 본문 = 그날 장의 공개 글, 누르면 열 날짜)을 기기에 걸어 둡니다. Android는 앱 자료 폴더의 알림 파일과 기기 알람에, iPhone · iPad는 기기의 알림 센터에 둡니다. 북마크 같은 개인 기록은 넣지 않습니다.
• 홈 화면 위젯(Android): 위젯이 읽을 표 하나(어제부터 800일 뒤까지 날마다의 명언 한 줄과 그 출처, 표가 다한 날에 보일 말 한 줄, 하루가 바뀌는 시각)를 앱 전용 자료 폴더에 둡니다. 꾸러미의 공개 글뿐이고 북마크와 계정은 넣지 않습니다. 위젯은 통신하지 않고 앱을 깨우지 않으며, 권한을 더 쓰지 않습니다. 설정의 「홈 화면 위젯」을 누를 때만 홈 화면에 놓자고 청하고, 놓을지는 기기의 창에서 그 사람이 고릅니다.
• 북마크 내보내기와 들이기: 그 사람이 설정 「내 기록」의 「북마크 내보내기」를 누를 때만, 살아 있는 북마크(카드 번호, 저장한 때, 고친 때)를 파일 두 개(다시 들일 수 있는 파일과, 북마크한 장의 글과 출처를 담은 글 파일)로 만들어 기기의 공유 창에 넘깁니다. 어디에 저장하거나 누구에게 보낼지는 그 사람이 고르고, 앱은 서버로 보내지 않습니다. 지운 북마크, 회원 번호, 아이디, 동의, 동기화 상태는 파일에 넣지 않습니다. 로그인하지 않아도 됩니다. 「북마크 들이기」는 그 사람이 고른 파일 하나를 읽어 이 기기의 북마크에 합칩니다(지우지 않습니다 · 다른 앱의 파일, 깨진 파일, 새 판의 파일은 들이지 않습니다).
• 틀린 곳 알리기: 카드의 「출처」 창에서 「틀린 곳 알리기」를 누를 때만 기기의 메일 앱이 열립니다(받는 곳 apps@modoo.io, 제목에 카드 번호와 언어, 본문에 카드의 글과 출처). 보내기는 그 사람이 메일 앱에서 하고, 앱은 서버로 아무것도 보내지 않습니다.
• 광고: 첫 공개 판부터 광고 사업자(Google)가 앱 안의 광고 도구(SDK)로 자동 수집할 수 있는 정보가 있습니다(8절).

2. 처리 목적

북마크와 설정은 그 사람이 다시 보고 매일 알림을 받는 데 씁니다. 모두 ID 회원 번호와 아이디는 앱의 기능에만 씁니다. 이 정보를 광고, 통계, 맞춤 추천에 쓰지 않습니다. 광고는 8절의 목적으로만 Google AdMob이 처리합니다.

3. 보유 기간

• 기기의 북마크 · 설정: 그 사람이 「이 기기의 기록 지우기」로 지우거나 앱을 지울 때까지. 보관본과 따로 둔 읽지 못한 파일도 같습니다. 기기 백업에 실린 것은 9절의 「기기 백업」을 따릅니다.
• 기기의 회원 번호 · 아이디: 로그아웃하면 지웁니다(북마크는 그대로). 전에 로그인했던 회원 번호는 기록 파일과 함께 「이 기기의 기록 지우기」나 앱 삭제 때 지웁니다.
• 기기의 보안 저장소: 동기화 세션의 갱신 토큰 하나를 둘 자리이며, 이 판은 동기화를 닫아 비어 있습니다.
• 매일 알림: 켜 둔 동안 앞으로 60일치를 걸어 둡니다. 「매일 알림」을 끄거나 「이 기기의 기록 지우기」를 하면 모두 내립니다.
• 내보낸 사본: 앱이 만든 사본은 앱의 임시 폴더(사본 폴더 한곳)에 남습니다. 내보낼 때마다 지난 사본을 비우고, 앱을 켤 때 하루 넘게 묵은 사본을 치웁니다. 「이 기기의 기록 지우기」는 이 사본과, 공유 · 파일 고르기 창이 임시 폴더에 베껴 둔 사본까지 지웁니다. 그 사람이 보낸 곳의 파일은 그 사람이 관리합니다.
• 계정에 올린 기록: 이 판에는 없습니다.
• 광고: Google AdMob이 처리하는 정보의 보유는 Google의 개인정보처리방침을 따릅니다.

5. 처리 위탁

이 앱은 따로 서버를 두지 않습니다. 로그인은 모두 ID(mid.modoo.io)가 맡고, 그 처리는 모두 공통 방침을 따릅니다. 광고 사업자(Google)가 앱 안의 광고 도구로 수집하는 정보는 회사가 맡기는 처리가 아니어서 여기에 넣지 않습니다(8절).

6. 국외 이전

이 앱이 따로 보내는 곳은 없습니다. 로그인(모두 ID)의 처리 위치는 모두 공통 방침을 따릅니다. 광고 사업자(Google)가 앱 안의 광고 도구로 수집하는 정보는 회사가 넘기는 것이 아니어서 여기에 넣지 않습니다(8절).

7. 쿠키 · 기기 저장소 · 기기 권한

• 쿠키: 앱은 쓰지 않습니다. 로그인 창은 기기의 브라우저가 띄우며, 그 창의 쿠키는 모두 ID의 것입니다.
• 기기 저장소: 기록 · 설정 파일과 그 보관본, 홈 화면 위젯의 표는 앱 전용 자료 폴더에, 매일 알림은 1절처럼 기기의 알림 자리에 둡니다. 기기의 보안 저장소(iPhone 키체인, Android 키스토어로 감싼 파일)는 이 판에서 비어 있습니다. 기기의 백업(iCloud 백업, Android 자동 백업)을 켜 두면 운영체제가 앱의 기록 파일과 설정 파일을 그 사람의 백업에 넣을 수 있습니다. 앱이 보내는 것이 아닙니다.
• 기기 권한(Android): 인터넷 — 모두 ID 로그인과 광고. 부팅 완료 받기 — 기기를 다시 켜거나 앱을 판 올림하면 걸어 둔 매일 알림을 다시 겁니다. 알림 띄우기(Android 13 이상) — 「매일 알림」을 켤 때 한 번 묻습니다. 진동 — 알림 진동. 앱 안의 받는 곳을 다른 앱에 열지 않으려는 서명 권한 — 묻지 않습니다. 광고를 싣는 판에서는 광고 SDK가 네트워크 상태 확인, 광고 ID(AD_ID), Android 광고 서비스(ACCESS_ADSERVICES_AD_ID · ATTRIBUTION · TOPICS), 기기 깨움 유지(WAKE_LOCK), 포그라운드 서비스(FOREGROUND_SERVICE — SDK 안쪽 작업) 권한을 더합니다(묻지 않습니다 · 8절).
• 기기 권한(iPhone · iPad): 알림 허락 — 「매일 알림」을 켤 때 한 번 묻습니다(앱을 켤 때 묻지 않습니다).
• 쓰지 않는 것: 정확 알람, 전체 화면 알림, 위치, 카메라, 마이크, 연락처, 사진. 내보내기와 들이기는 기기의 공유 창과 파일 고르기 창을 쓰며, 이를 위해 따로 권한을 묻지 않습니다.

8. 광고

첫 공개 판부터 Google AdMob의 앱 오픈 광고 하나만 싣습니다 — 자주 쓰는 분께만(앱을 깐 지 7일이 지나고 연 날이 5일을 넘은 뒤), 앱을 켤 때 하루에 한 번. 처음 며칠은 광고가 없습니다. 자체 홍보 광고와 보상형 광고는 첫 판에 없고, 이용 통계 도구, 오류 수집 도구, 결제 · 구독은 넣지 않았습니다.

• 광고 사업자: Google LLC(Google AdMob) — 앱을 켤 때 하루 한 번까지 보이는 광고를 고르고 보입니다.
• 앱이 하는 일: 앱을 처음 연 때, 연 날의 수, 마지막으로 광고가 보인 때를 이 기기 안에서만 세어 광고를 보일지 정합니다. 앱은 이 수를 어디로도 보내지 않으며(회사로도 보내지 않습니다), 앱을 지우면 함께 지워집니다. 북마크와 설정은 광고 요청에 싣지 않습니다.
• 광고 사업자가 앱 안의 광고 도구(SDK)로 자동 수집할 수 있는 것: 기기의 광고 ID(Android), IP 주소(대략적인 위치), 기기와 앱 정보, 광고 노출과 클릭, 광고 도구의 진단 · 비정상 종료 정보. iPhone · iPad에서는 앱이 추적 허용을 묻지 않아 광고 식별자(IDFA)를 쓰지 않습니다.
• 목적: 광고를 보이고, 광고 성과를 재고, 부정 클릭을 막습니다. 동의와 지역에 따라 맞춤형 광고에도 씁니다.
• 누가 받나 · 보유 기간: Google이 자기 개인정보처리방침에 따라 처리하고 보관합니다. 회사는 이 정보를 받지 않습니다.
• 동의(유럽 경제 지역 · 영국 · 스위스): 이 지역의 이용자에게는 Google의 동의 창(UMP)을 먼저 보이고, 그 단계를 마친 뒤에만 광고를 청합니다. 동의하지 않으면 맞춤이 아닌 광고(이 앱 · 대략의 위치 · 시간 같은 값으로 고름)가 보이며, 고른 것에 따라 광고가 더 제한될 수 있습니다.
• 거부 · 바꾸는 길: Android: 기기 설정 › Google › 광고에서 광고 ID를 삭제하거나 재설정할 수 있습니다. 유럽 경제 지역 · 영국 · 스위스: 앱 설정의 「개인정보 · 광고 선택」(이 지역에서만 보입니다)에서 고른 것을 바꿀 수 있습니다.
• 더 보기: Google 개인정보처리방침(https://policies.google.com/privacy) · Google이 광고를 고르는 방법(https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads) · Google이 자기 서비스를 쓰는 앱에서 받은 정보를 쓰는 방법(https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites).

이 칸은 앱 안에 자동 수집 장치(광고 SDK)를 두고 운영하는 것과 그것을 거부하는 방법을 알리는 것입니다(개인정보 보호법 제30조 제1항 제7호). 회사가 Google에 정보를 넘기거나 처리를 맡기는 것이 아니어서 5절(처리 위탁)과 6절(국외 이전)에는 넣지 않았습니다.

9. 지우는 길

• 기기의 기록 전부: 설정의 「이 기기의 기록 지우기」 — 로그아웃하고, 기록 파일 · 설정 파일과 그 옆 파일(보관본, 따로 둔 읽지 못한 파일, 쓰다 만 파일)과 내보낸 사본을 지우고, 걸어 둔 매일 알림을 내립니다. 홈 화면 위젯의 표는 공개 글뿐이라 처음 값으로 다시 씁니다. 지우기 전에 확인 창이 지울 것(북마크 수, 설정, 로그인, 따로 둔 파일 수, 매일 알림)을 세어 보여 줍니다. 앱에서는 되돌릴 수 없습니다. 또는 앱을 지웁니다 — 이 기기의 기록(앱 자료 폴더)이 지워집니다.
• 매일 알림: 「매일 알림」을 끄면 걸어 둔 알림을 모두 내립니다.
• 로그아웃: 회원 번호 · 아이디와 보안 저장소를 지웁니다. 북마크는 그대로입니다.
• 기기 백업: 앱에서 지운 기록은 앱에서 되돌릴 수 없습니다. 다만 기기 백업(Android의 Google 백업 · iPhone의 iCloud 백업)을 켜 두었고 지우기 전에 백업이 만들어졌다면, 앱을 다시 설치하거나 기기를 그 백업으로 되살릴 때 지운 기록이 돌아올 수 있습니다. 지운 뒤에 만들어진 백업에는 지운 기록이 담기지 않습니다. 기기 백업은 이용자의 Google · Apple 계정에 암호화되어 저장되며, 회사는 그 백업에 접근하지 못합니다. 기기 백업은 기기의 설정에서 끄거나 지울 수 있습니다 — iPhone: 설정 → Apple 계정 → iCloud → 백업 → 모두 하루 끄기 · Android: 설정 → Google → 백업(기기에 따라 메뉴 이름이 조금 다를 수 있습니다).
• 내보낸 파일: 그 사람이 보낸 곳(파일, 드라이브, 메일 등)에서 그 사람이 지웁니다.
• 계정에 올린 기록: 이 판에는 없습니다.
• 모두 ID: 설정의 「모두 ID 탈퇴」가 기기의 브라우저로 https://modoo.io/user/withdraw를 엽니다. 모두의 다른 앱도 함께 쓰는 계정입니다. 탈퇴해도 이 기기의 북마크는 지우지 않습니다.

1. Items processed

• Without signing in: The app sends nothing off your device on its own (for ads, see section 8). Today’s page, topics and sources come from the pack built into the app, and the daily reminder is shown by your device itself, with no server. Listen passes the text to your device’s speech synthesis (Android’s or iOS’s). Whether that engine reads with an on-device voice or an online voice depends on your device and your settings; the app does not decide it.
• If you sign in with Modoo ID: Signing in is optional, and every feature works without it. Sign-in is handled by Modoo ID (mid.modoo.io) in your device’s browser window, and the app does not receive your password. To show the sign-in screen in your language, the address of the sign-in window carries the app’s display language and your device’s language preferences (up to five). After you sign in, the app receives your member number and username from Modoo ID and keeps them on the device. Your email address is not written to the device even if it is received. To notice when the account changes, the app keeps the two member numbers that previously signed in on this device. This version keeps sync of saved pages closed, so signing in sends nothing to modoo.io, and the sign-in token from Modoo ID is discarded where it is received.
• Kept only on the device: A records file in the app’s own data folder (saved pages — page number, when saved, deletion mark · sync-state fields, which this version does not send · if you signed in, your member number, username and the two member numbers that previously signed in) and a settings file (display, card and side-by-side languages; the daily reminder’s on/off, time and contents; “New day starts at”). For each of the two files the app keeps the previously saved version as a backup copy, and a file it cannot read is set aside next to it without being deleted or overwritten (both hold the same contents as above). A file written by a newer version of the app is neither opened nor written; the app shows “Update the app to open your data”.
• Taking out unreadable files: Files set aside, and files written by a newer version of the app, leave the device through the share sheet only when you tap “Take out” under “Files the app couldn’t read” in “Your data” in Settings (byte for byte; you choose where to save them). The app does not send them off the device on its own.
• Daily reminder: When you turn on “Daily reminder”, reminders for the next 60 days (time, title, body = that day’s public text, the date to open when tapped) are set on the device — on Android in a reminder file in the app’s data folder and in the device’s alarms, on iPhone and iPad in the device’s notification center. Personal records such as saved pages are not included.
• Home screen widget (Android): The app keeps one table for the widget in its own data folder (one quote line and its source for each day from yesterday to 800 days ahead, a line to show when the table runs out, and the time the new day starts). It holds only the pack’s public text; saved pages and the account are not included. The widget does not communicate, does not wake the app and uses no extra permission. The app asks to place it on the home screen only when you tap “Home screen widget” in Settings, and you choose whether to place it in the device’s window.
• Exporting and importing saved pages: Only when you tap “Export saved pages” in “Your data” in Settings, the app makes your current saved pages (page number, when saved, when changed) into two files (one that can be imported again and a text file with the text and source of each saved page) and hands them to the device’s share sheet. You choose where to save them or whom to send them to; the app does not send them to a server. Deleted saved pages, member number, username, consent and sync state are not put in the files. No sign-in is needed. “Import saved pages” reads one file you choose and merges it into the saved pages on this device (nothing is deleted; files from other apps, damaged files and files from a newer version are not imported).
• Report a mistake: Only when you tap “Report a mistake” in a card’s “Source” window does the device’s mail app open (to apps@modoo.io, with the page number and language in the subject and the card’s text and source in the body). You send it yourself from the mail app; the app sends nothing to a server.
• Advertising: From the first public version, there is information that the advertising company (Google) may automatically collect through the ad tool (SDK) in the app (section 8).

2. Purpose of processing

Saved pages and settings are used for you to see pages again and receive the daily reminder. The Modoo ID member number and username are used only for the app’s functions. This information is not used for advertising, statistics or personalized recommendations. Ads are processed by Google AdMob only for the purposes in section 8.

3. Retention period

• Saved pages and settings on the device: Until you delete them with “Clear data on this device” or delete the app. The same applies to the backup copies and the unreadable files set aside. Anything included in a device backup follows “Device backup” in section 9.
• Member number and username on the device: Deleted when you sign out (saved pages stay). The member numbers that previously signed in are deleted together with the records file by “Clear data on this device” or when the app is deleted.
• Secure storage on the device: It has a place for one refresh token of a sync session; in this version sync is closed, so it is empty.
• Daily reminder: While it is on, reminders for the next 60 days are set. Turning off “Daily reminder” or using “Clear data on this device” removes them all.
• Exported copies: The copies the app makes stay in the app’s temporary folder (a single copies folder). Each export empties the previous copies, and copies more than a day old are cleared when the app starts. “Clear data on this device” deletes these copies and also the copies the share and file-picker windows made in the temporary folder. Files in the place you sent them are managed by you.
• Records uploaded to the account: None in this version.
• Advertising: Retention of information processed by Google AdMob follows Google’s Privacy Policy.

4. Provision to third parties

5. Entrusted processing

This app has no server of its own. Sign-in is handled by Modoo ID (mid.modoo.io), and that processing follows the common Modoo privacy policy. Information the advertising company (Google) collects through the ad tool in the app is not processing we entrust to it, so it is not listed here (section 8).

7. Cookies, device storage and device permissions

• Cookies: The app does not use them. The sign-in window is opened by the device’s browser, and the cookies in that window belong to Modoo ID.
• Device storage: The records and settings files, their backup copies and the home screen widget’s table are kept in the app’s own data folder, and daily reminders in the device’s notification place as in section 1. The device’s secure storage (iPhone Keychain, a file wrapped with the Android Keystore) is empty in this version. If you turn on device backup (iCloud Backup, Android Auto Backup), the operating system may include the app’s records and settings files in your backup. This is not something the app sends.
• Device permissions (Android): Internet — Modoo ID sign-in and ads. Receive boot completed — sets the daily reminders again after the device restarts or the app is updated. Post notifications (Android 13 and later) — asked once when you turn on “Daily reminder”. Vibrate — reminder vibration. A signature permission so the app’s internal receivers are not opened to other apps — never asked. In the version that carries ads, the ads SDK adds network state, advertising ID (AD_ID), Android ad services (ACCESS_ADSERVICES_AD_ID, ATTRIBUTION, TOPICS), keeping the device awake (WAKE_LOCK) and foreground service (FOREGROUND_SERVICE — internal SDK work) permissions (not asked; section 8).
• Device permissions (iPhone and iPad): Notification permission — asked once when you turn on “Daily reminder” (not when the app starts).
• Not used: Exact alarms, full-screen notifications, location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos. Exporting and importing use the device’s share sheet and file picker, and no separate permission is asked for them.

8. Advertising

From the first public version, only one Google AdMob app open ad — only for frequent users (after 7 days since installing and more than 5 days on which the app was opened), once a day when the app starts. There are no ads for the first few days. The first version has no house ads or rewarded ads, and no usage analytics tool, error-collection tool, payments or subscriptions.

• Advertising company: Google LLC (Google AdMob) — chooses and shows the ad that can appear up to once a day when you open the app.
• What the app does: The app counts, only on this device, when you first opened the app, how many days you have opened it and when an ad last appeared, and decides from these counts whether to show an ad. The app never sends these counts anywhere (not to us either), and they are deleted when you delete the app. Your saved pages and settings are not put in ad requests.
• What the advertising company may automatically collect through the ad tool (SDK) in the app: Your device’s advertising ID (Android), IP address (approximate location), device and app information, ad impressions and clicks, and the ad tool’s diagnostic and crash information. On iPhone and iPad the app does not ask for tracking permission, so the advertising identifier (IDFA) is not used.
• Purpose: To show ads, measure ad performance and prevent fraudulent clicks — and, depending on consent and region, for personalized ads.
• Who receives it and retention: Google processes and keeps it under its own privacy policy. We do not receive this information.
• Consent (EEA, UK and Switzerland): Users in these regions first see Google’s consent window (UMP), and ads are requested only after that step is completed. If you do not consent, you see non-personalized ads (chosen from things like this app, your approximate location and the time), and depending on your choices ads may be further limited.
• How to refuse or change: Android: you can delete or reset your advertising ID in device Settings › Google › Ads. EEA, UK and Switzerland: you can change your choices under “Privacy & ad choices” in the app’s settings (shown only in these regions).

This section explains the automatic collection tool (ads SDK) installed and operated in the app and how to refuse it (Personal Information Protection Act, Article 30(1)7). We do not hand information to Google or entrust processing to it, so Google is not listed in section 5 (entrusted processing) or section 6 (overseas transfer).

9. How to delete

• All records on the device: “Clear data on this device” in Settings — signs you out, deletes the records and settings files and the files next to them (backup copies, unreadable files set aside, partly written files) and the exported copies, and removes the daily reminders that were set. The home screen widget’s table holds only public text, so it is rewritten to its initial values. Before deleting, a confirmation window counts and shows what will be deleted (number of saved pages, settings, sign-in, number of files set aside, daily reminder). This cannot be undone in the app. Or delete the app — the records on this device (the app’s data folder) are deleted.
• Daily reminder: Turning off “Daily reminder” removes all the reminders that were set.
• Sign out: Deletes the member number, username and secure storage. Saved pages stay.
• Device backup: Records you delete in the app cannot be restored from within the app. However, if device backup (Google backup on Android, iCloud Backup on iPhone) is on and a backup was made before you deleted them, the deleted records may come back when you reinstall the app or restore your device from that backup. Backups made after the deletion do not contain the deleted records. Device backups are stored encrypted in your own Google or Apple account, and we cannot access them. You can turn off or delete device backups in your device settings — iPhone: Settings → Apple Account → iCloud → Backup → turn off Modoo Daily · Android: Settings → Google → Backup (menu names may vary slightly by device).
• Exported files: You delete them in the place you sent them to (Files, a drive, email and so on).
• Records uploaded to the account: None in this version.
• Modoo ID: “Delete Modoo ID account” in Settings opens https://modoo.io/user/withdraw in the device’s browser. It is an account shared with other Modoo apps. Deleting it does not delete the saved pages on this device.

1. 取り扱う項目

• ログインせずに使うとき: アプリが自ら端末の外に送る情報はありません（広告は8）。今日のカード、テーマ、出典はアプリに収録したパックから出し、毎日の通知はサーバーを使わず端末が自ら表示します。読み上げは、読む文を端末の音声合成（Android・iOS のもの）に渡します。その仕組みが端末内の音声で読むか、オンラインの音声を使うかは端末と利用者の設定によって決まり、アプリは決めません。
• モドゥIDでログインすると: ログインは任意で、しなくてもすべての機能を使えます。ログインはモドゥID（mid.modoo.io）が端末のブラウザーの画面で処理し、アプリはパスワードを受け取りません。ログイン画面を利用者の言語で表示するため、ログイン画面のアドレスに画面の言語と端末の言語の優先順（5つまで）を載せます。ログインが終わると、アプリはモドゥIDから会員番号とユーザー名を受け取り、端末に記録します。メールアドレスは受け取っても端末に記録しません。アカウントが替わったことに気づくため、この端末で以前ログインした会員番号を2つまで端末に残します。この版は保存の同期を閉じているため、ログインしても modoo.io には何も送らず、モドゥIDから受け取ったログイン確認値（トークン）は受け取った場で捨てます。
• 端末の中だけに残るもの: アプリ専用のデータフォルダーの記録ファイル（保存 — カード番号、保存した日時、削除の印・同期の状態の欄 — この版は送信しません・ログインしていれば会員番号、ユーザー名、以前ログインした会員番号2つ）と設定ファイル（画面・カード・対訳の言語、毎日の通知のオン・時刻・内容、「一日の切り替わり」）。2つのファイルごとに直前に保存した版をひとつ予備として置き、読み込めないファイルは削除も上書きもせず横に別に置きます（どちらも上と同じ内容です）。新しい版のアプリが書いたファイルは開かず書き込まず、「アプリを更新してから開いてください」を表示します。
• 読めなかったファイルの取り出し: 別に置いたファイルと、新しい版のアプリが書いたファイルは、利用者が設定の「自分の記録」の「読めなかったファイル」で「取り出す」を押したときだけ、端末の共有画面から外に出ます（バイトそのまま・保存先は利用者が選びます）。アプリが自ら端末の外に送ることはありません。
• 毎日の通知: 「毎日の通知」をオンにすると、この先60日分の通知（時刻、タイトル、本文 = その日のカードの公開文、押すと開く日付）を端末に設定します。Android はアプリのデータフォルダーの通知ファイルと端末のアラームに、iPhone・iPad は端末の通知センターに置きます。保存などの個人の記録は入れません。
• ホーム画面ウィジェット（Android）: ウィジェットが読む表をひとつ（昨日から800日先までの毎日の名言1行とその出典、表が尽きた日に表示する1行、一日の切り替わりの時刻）アプリ専用のデータフォルダーに置きます。パックの公開文だけで、保存とアカウントは入れません。ウィジェットは通信せず、アプリを起こさず、権限を追加で使いません。設定の「ホーム画面ウィジェット」を押したときだけホーム画面に置くよう求め、置くかどうかは端末の画面で利用者が選びます。
• 保存の書き出しと読み込み: 利用者が設定の「自分の記録」で「保存を書き出す」を押したときだけ、今ある保存（カード番号、保存した日時、変更した日時）を2つのファイル（もう一度読み込めるファイルと、保存したカードの文と出典を入れたテキストファイル）にして端末の共有画面に渡します。どこに保存するか、誰に送るかは利用者が選び、アプリはサーバーに送りません。削除した保存、会員番号、ユーザー名、同意、同期の状態はファイルに入れません。ログインは要りません。「保存を読み込む」は利用者が選んだファイルひとつを読み、この端末の保存に統合します（削除はしません・ほかのアプリのファイル、壊れたファイル、新しい版のファイルは読み込みません）。
• 誤りを知らせる: カードの「出典」で「誤りを知らせる」を押したときだけ、端末のメールアプリが開きます（宛先 apps@modoo.io、件名にカード番号と言語、本文にカードの文と出典）。送信は利用者がメールアプリで行い、アプリはサーバーに何も送りません。
• 広告: 最初の公開版から、広告事業者（Google）がアプリ内の広告ツール（SDK）で自動的に収集しうる情報があります（8）。

2. 取り扱いの目的

保存と設定は、利用者がカードを見返し、毎日の通知を受け取るために使います。モドゥIDの会員番号とユーザー名はアプリの機能にだけ使います。これらの情報を広告、統計、おすすめに使いません。広告は8の目的に限って Google AdMob が取り扱います。

3. 保有期間

• 端末の保存・設定: 利用者が「この端末の記録を消す」で消すか、アプリを削除するまで。予備の版と別に置いた読めなかったファイルも同じです。端末のバックアップに含まれたものは、9の「端末のバックアップ」に従います。
• 端末の会員番号・ユーザー名: ログアウトすると消します（保存はそのまま）。以前ログインした会員番号は、記録ファイルと一緒に「この端末の記録を消す」またはアプリの削除で消します。
• 端末の安全な保存領域: 同期セッションの更新トークンをひとつ置く場所で、この版は同期を閉じているため空です。
• 毎日の通知: オンの間はこの先60日分を設定します。「毎日の通知」をオフにするか、「この端末の記録を消す」を行うと、すべて解除します。
• 書き出したコピー: アプリが作ったコピーは、アプリの一時フォルダー（コピー用のフォルダーひとつ）に残ります。書き出すたびに前のコピーを空にし、アプリを開いたときに1日を過ぎたコピーを片付けます。「この端末の記録を消す」は、このコピーと、共有・ファイル選択の画面が一時フォルダーに写したコピーまで消します。利用者が送った先のファイルは、利用者が管理します。
• アカウントにアップロードした記録: この版にはありません。
• 広告: Google AdMob が取り扱う情報の保有は、Google のプライバシーポリシーに従います。

7. クッキー・端末内の保存領域・端末の権限

• クッキー: アプリは使いません。ログイン画面は端末のブラウザーが表示し、その画面のクッキーはモドゥIDのものです。
• 端末内の保存領域: 記録・設定ファイルとその予備、ホーム画面ウィジェットの表はアプリ専用のデータフォルダーに、毎日の通知は1のとおり端末の通知の場所に置きます。端末の安全な保存領域（iPhone のキーチェーン、Android キーストアで包んだファイル）は、この版では空です。端末のバックアップ（iCloud バックアップ、Android の自動バックアップ）をオンにすると、OS がアプリの記録ファイルと設定ファイルを利用者のバックアップに入れることがあります。アプリが送るものではありません。
• 端末の権限（Android）: インターネット — モドゥIDのログインと広告。起動完了の受信 — 端末の再起動やアプリの更新のあと、設定した毎日の通知をもう一度設定します。通知の表示（Android 13 以降） — 「毎日の通知」をオンにするときに一度だけ尋ねます。バイブレーション — 通知のバイブレーション。アプリ内の受け口をほかのアプリに開かないための署名権限 — 尋ねません。広告を載せる版では、広告 SDK がネットワーク状態の確認、広告 ID（AD_ID）、Android の広告サービス（ACCESS_ADSERVICES_AD_ID・ATTRIBUTION・TOPICS）、スリープの防止（WAKE_LOCK）、フォアグラウンドサービス（FOREGROUND_SERVICE — SDK 内部の処理）の権限を加えます（尋ねません・8）。
• 端末の権限（iPhone・iPad）: 通知の許可 — 「毎日の通知」をオンにするときに一度だけ尋ねます（アプリを開くときには尋ねません）。
• 使わないもの: 正確なアラーム、全画面通知、位置情報、カメラ、マイク、連絡先、写真。書き出しと読み込みは端末の共有画面とファイル選択の画面を使い、そのために別に権限を尋ねません。

8. 広告

最初の公開版から、Google AdMob のアプリ起動時広告ひとつだけを載せます — よく使う方にだけ（インストールから7日が過ぎ、アプリを開いた日が5日を超えたあと）、アプリを開くときに一日一回。最初の数日は広告がありません。自社の告知広告とリワード広告は最初の版にはなく、利用統計ツール、エラー収集ツール、課金・サブスクリプションは組み込んでいません。

• 広告事業者: Google LLC（Google AdMob）— アプリを開くときに一日一回まで表示される広告を選び、表示します。
• アプリが行うこと: アプリを初めて開いた日時、開いた日数、最後に広告を表示した日時をこの端末の中だけで数え、広告を表示するかどうかを決めます。アプリはこの値をどこにも送らず（当社にも送りません）、アプリを削除すると一緒に削除されます。保存と設定は広告のリクエストに含めません。
• 広告事業者がアプリ内の広告ツール（SDK）で自動的に収集しうるもの: 端末の広告 ID（Android）、IP アドレス（おおよその位置）、端末とアプリの情報、広告の表示とクリック、広告ツールの診断・クラッシュ情報。iPhone・iPad では、アプリがトラッキングの許可を求めないため、広告識別子（IDFA）を使いません。
• 目的: 広告の表示、広告の成果の測定、不正なクリックの防止。同意と地域によっては、パーソナライズされた広告にも使います。
• 受け取る者・保有期間: Google が自社のプライバシーポリシーに従って取り扱い、保管します。当社はこの情報を受け取りません。
• 同意（欧州経済領域・英国・スイス）: これらの地域の利用者には、まず Google の同意画面（UMP）を表示し、その手続きが終わったあとにだけ広告を求めます。同意しない場合はパーソナライズされていない広告（このアプリ・おおよその位置・時刻などで選ぶ）が表示され、選択によっては広告がさらに制限されることがあります。
• 拒否・変更の方法: Android：端末の設定 › Google › 広告 で広告 ID を削除・リセットできます。欧州経済領域・英国・スイス：アプリの設定の「プライバシーと広告の選択」（これらの地域でのみ表示されます）で選択を変更できます。

この項は、アプリ内に自動収集の仕組み（広告 SDK）を設置・運用していることと、それを拒否する方法をお知らせするものです（個人情報保護法第30条第1項第7号）。当社が Google に情報を渡したり取り扱いを委託したりするものではないため、5（取り扱いの委託）と6（国外移転）には載せていません。

9. 削除する方法

• 端末の記録すべて: 設定の「この端末の記録を消す」— ログアウトし、記録ファイル・設定ファイルとその横のファイル（予備の版、別に置いた読めなかったファイル、書きかけのファイル）と書き出したコピーを消し、設定した毎日の通知を解除します。ホーム画面ウィジェットの表は公開文だけなので、最初の値に書き直します。消す前に、確認画面が消すもの（保存の数、設定、ログイン、別に置いたファイルの数、毎日の通知）を数えて表示します。アプリでは元に戻せません。または、アプリを削除します — この端末の記録（アプリのデータフォルダー）が削除されます。
• 毎日の通知: 「毎日の通知」をオフにすると、設定した通知をすべて解除します。
• ログアウト: 会員番号・ユーザー名と安全な保存領域を消します。保存はそのままです。
• 端末のバックアップ: アプリで削除した記録は、アプリから元に戻すことはできません。ただし、端末のバックアップ（AndroidのGoogleバックアップ・iPhoneのiCloudバックアップ）がオンで、削除する前にバックアップが作られていた場合、アプリを入れ直したり端末をそのバックアップから復元したりすると、削除した記録が戻ることがあります。削除した後に作られたバックアップには、削除した記録は含まれません。端末のバックアップは利用者ご自身のGoogle・Appleアカウントに暗号化して保存され、当社はそのバックアップにアクセスできません。端末のバックアップは端末の設定でオフにしたり削除したりできます — iPhone：設定 → Apple アカウント → iCloud → バックアップ → モドゥデイリー をオフ・Android：設定 → Google → バックアップ（端末によってメニュー名が少し異なる場合があります）。
• 書き出したファイル: 利用者が送った先（ファイル、ドライブ、メールなど）で、利用者が削除します。
• アカウントにアップロードした記録: この版にはありません。
• モドゥID: 設定の「モドゥIDを退会」が、端末のブラウザーで https://modoo.io/user/withdraw を開きます。モドゥのほかのアプリとも共通のアカウントです。退会しても、この端末の保存は削除しません。
