1. 처리하는 항목

• 로그인하지 않고 쓸 때: 앱이 스스로 기기 밖으로 보내는 정보가 없습니다(광고는 8절). 책, 읽은 기록, 메모, 설정은 모두 기기 안에서 동작합니다. 표지 사진은 기기의 파일 고르기 창으로 고르며, 사진 보관함 권한을 쓰지 않습니다.
• 모두 ID로 로그인하면: 로그인은 고를 수 있고, 하지 않아도 모든 기능을 씁니다. 로그인은 모두 ID(mid.modoo.io)가 기기의 브라우저 창에서 처리하며, 앱은 비밀번호를 받지 않습니다. 로그인 화면을 그 사람의 언어로 띄우려고 로그인 창의 주소에 화면 언어와 기기의 언어 선호 순서를 싣습니다. 로그인이 끝나면 앱은 모두 ID에서 회원 번호와 아이디를 받아 기기에 적어 둡니다. 이메일 주소는 받아도 기기에 적지 않습니다. 계정이 바뀐 것을 알아보려고 지난 회원 번호를 기기에 남깁니다. 이 판에는 기록을 기기 밖으로 올리는 기능이 없어, 로그인해도 본체(modoo.io)에 책 · 읽은 기록 · 메모를 보내지 않습니다.
• 기기에만 남는 것: 앱 저장 폴더의 기록 파일 — 책(제목, 만든 사람, 형태, 쪽 수, 언어, 칸), 읽은 기록(날, 쪽, 걸린 분), 메모, 옮겨 적은 문장, 태그, 설정(화면 언어, 콘텐츠 언어, 전자책 단위, 정렬, 하루가 바뀌는 시각, 앱 안 글자 크기, 마지막 내보내기 때, 처음 안내를 봤는지), 쓰던 메모(새 메모 창과 고치던 메모마다 하나 — 치다가 잠깐 쉬거나, 앱이 앞에서 물러나거나, 창을 떠날 때 둡니다), 로그인했다면 회원 번호 · 아이디 · 지난 회원 번호. 기록 파일의 바로 전 판 한 벌을 보관본으로 둡니다. 묻는 창 뒤에 아주 지운 책 · 메모 · 읽은 기록은 그 쓰기에서 보관본에서도 빠집니다. 읽지 못한 기록 파일은 그 사람이 「보관본에서 되살리기」나 「새로 시작」을 고를 때 지우지 않고 옆에 따로 둡니다. 더 새 판의 앱이 쓴 파일은 열지도 쓰지도 않습니다.
• 표지 사진: 그 사람이 고른 표지 사진의 사본을 앱 저장 폴더에 둡니다. 고른 사진 파일을 줄이거나 다시 쓰지 않고 그대로 두므로, 사진에 든 찍은 곳 · 기기 같은 정보도 그대로 남습니다. 파일 고르기 창이 앱의 임시 폴더에 베껴 둔 원본은 들인 바로 뒤에 지웁니다. 표지 사진은 내보낸 파일에 넣지 않습니다.
• 홈 화면 위젯(Android): 위젯이 읽을 표 하나(읽는 중인 책 셋까지의 제목, 진도 글, 눌러 열 책의 번호, 빈 위젯과 표가 다한 날의 글)를 앱 저장 폴더에 둡니다. 메모, 옮겨 적은 문장, 태그, 만든 사람, 계정, 읽는 중이 아닌 책은 넣지 않습니다. 설정의 「위젯에 책 제목 가리기」를 켜면 제목도 넣지 않습니다. 위젯은 통신하지 않고 앱을 깨우지 않습니다. 홈 화면은 다른 사람도 볼 수 있습니다. iPhone · iPad에는 위젯이 없습니다.
• 내보내기와 가져오기: 그 사람이 설정의 「내 파일로 내보내기」를 누를 때만 책 전부(읽은 기록, 메모, 옮겨 적은 문장, 태그)를 파일 두 개(다시 가져올 수 있는 파일과 표로 여는 파일)로 만들어 기기의 공유 창에 넘깁니다. 어디에 두고 누구에게 보낼지는 그 사람이 고르고, 앱은 서버로 보내지 않습니다. 표지 사진, 설정, 회원 번호와 아이디는 넣지 않습니다. 로그인하지 않아도 됩니다. 「모두 책장에서 내보낸 파일 가져오기」는 그 사람이 고른 파일을 기기 안에서 읽어 없는 책만 더합니다(있는 책은 바꾸지 않습니다).
• 따로 둔 파일 꺼내기: 앱이 읽지 못해 옆에 둔 파일과 바로 전 판 보관본은 그 사람이 설정의 「따로 둔 파일 꺼내기」(그런 파일이 있을 때만 보입니다)나 「읽지 못한 파일 꺼내기」를 누를 때만 고치지 않은 그대로 기기의 공유 창으로 나갑니다. 앱이 스스로 기기 밖으로 보내지 않습니다.
• 광고: 첫 공개 판부터 광고 사업자(Google)가 앱 안의 광고 도구(SDK)로 자동 수집할 수 있는 정보가 있습니다(8절).

2. 처리 목적

기록은 그 사람이 읽은 책과 읽는 책, 진도, 메모를 적어 두고 다시 보는 데만 씁니다. 모두 ID 회원 번호와 아이디는 앱의 기능에만 씁니다. 메모에는 그 사람의 생각이 담길 수 있어, 기기 안에 두고 광고, 통계, 맞춤 추천, AI에 쓰지 않으며 읽어 분석하지 않습니다. 광고는 8절의 목적으로만 Google AdMob이 처리합니다.

3. 보유 기간

• 기기의 기록 · 설정: 그 사람이 지우거나 앱을 지울 때까지. 보관본과 따로 둔 읽지 못한 파일도 같습니다. 기기 백업에 실린 것은 9절의 「기기 백업」을 따릅니다.
• 쓰던 메모: 저장하거나 버릴 때 지웁니다. 앱을 켤 때 고치던 메모가 없어진 글을 걷습니다.
• 표지 사진 사본: 책을 지우거나, 표지를 빼거나, 책 넣기를 닫으면 지웁니다. 앱을 켤 때 어느 책도 가리키지 않는 사본을 치웁니다.
• 기기의 회원 번호 · 아이디: 로그아웃하면 지웁니다(기록은 그대로). 지난 회원 번호는 로그아웃 뒤에도 남고, 「이 기기의 기록 지우기」 때 지웁니다(로그인한 채라면 지금 회원 번호만 남깁니다).
• 기기의 보안 저장소: 이 판은 적지 않습니다. 로그아웃하면 비웁니다.
• 내보낸 사본: 앱이 만든 사본은 앱의 임시 폴더(사본 폴더 한곳)에 남습니다. 내보낼 때마다 지난 사본을 비우고, 앱을 켤 때 하루 넘게 묵은 사본을 치웁니다. 「이 기기의 기록 지우기」는 이 사본과, 공유 · 파일 고르기 창이 임시 폴더에 베껴 둔 사본까지 지웁니다. 그 사람이 보낸 곳의 파일은 그 사람이 관리합니다.
• 계정에 올린 기록: 이 판에는 없습니다.
• 광고: Google AdMob이 처리하는 정보의 보유는 Google의 개인정보처리방침을 따릅니다. 회사는 이 정보를 받지 않습니다(8절).

4. 제3자 제공

없음. 그 사람이 공유 창에서 받는 곳을 골라 보낸 것은 그 사람이 보낸 것입니다.

5. 처리 위탁

이 앱은 따로 서버를 두지 않습니다. 로그인은 모두 ID(mid.modoo.io)가 맡고, 그 처리는 모두 공통 방침을 따릅니다. 광고 사업자(Google)가 앱 안의 광고 도구로 수집하는 정보는 회사가 맡기는 처리가 아니어서 여기에 넣지 않습니다(8절).

6. 국외 이전

이 앱이 따로 보내는 곳은 없습니다. 로그인(모두 ID)의 처리 위치는 모두 공통 방침을 따릅니다. 광고 사업자(Google)가 앱 안의 광고 도구로 수집하는 정보는 회사가 넘기는 것이 아니어서 여기에 넣지 않습니다(8절).

7. 쿠키 · 기기 저장소 · 기기 권한

• 쿠키: 앱은 쓰지 않습니다. 로그인 창은 기기의 브라우저가 띄우며, 그 창의 쿠키는 모두 ID의 것입니다.
• 기기 저장소: 1절의 기록 파일과 그 보관본, 표지 사진 사본, 홈 화면 위젯의 표는 앱 저장 폴더에 둡니다. 기기의 보안 저장소(iPhone 키체인 · Android 보안 저장소)에는 이 판에서 적는 것이 없습니다. 기기의 백업(Android 자동 백업 · iPhone의 iCloud 기기 백업)을 켜 두면 운영체제가 기록 파일과 보관본을 그 사람의 백업에 넣을 수 있습니다. 앱이 보내는 것이 아닙니다. Android의 클라우드 백업에서는 표지 사진 폴더를 뺍니다(기기에서 기기로 옮길 때는 표지도 갑니다). iPhone · iPad는 앱 지원 폴더(기록과 표지)가 기기 백업 대상입니다.
• 기기 권한(Android): 인터넷 — 모두 ID 로그인과 광고. 광고를 싣는 판에서는 광고 SDK가 네트워크 상태 확인, 광고 ID(AD_ID), Android 광고 서비스(ACCESS_ADSERVICES_AD_ID · ATTRIBUTION · TOPICS), 기기 깨움 유지(WAKE_LOCK), 포그라운드 서비스(FOREGROUND_SERVICE — SDK 안쪽 작업) 권한을 더합니다(8절). 이 권한들은 사람에게 묻지 않습니다.
• 기기 권한(iPhone · iPad): 묻는 권한이 없습니다. 추적 허용 창을 띄우지 않습니다.
• 쓰지 않는 것: 사진 보관함, 카메라, 위치, 연락처, 알림. 표지 고르기, 내보내기, 가져오기는 기기의 파일 고르기 창과 공유 창을 쓰며, 이를 위해 따로 권한을 묻지 않습니다.

8. 광고

첫 공개 판부터 Google AdMob의 앱 오픈 광고 하나만 싣습니다 — 자주 쓰는 분께만(앱을 깐 지 7일이 지나고 연 날이 5일을 넘은 뒤), 앱을 켜거나 30분 넘게 나갔다가 돌아올 때 하루에 한 번. 처음 며칠은 광고가 없고, 쓰던 메모나 하던 일 위에는 덮지 않습니다. 자체 홍보 광고와 보상형 광고는 첫 판에 없고, 이용 통계 도구, 오류 수집 도구, 결제 · 구독은 넣지 않았습니다.

• 광고 사업자: Google LLC(Google AdMob) — 앱을 켤 때 하루 한 번까지 보이는 광고를 고르고 보입니다.
• 앱이 하는 일: 앱을 처음 연 때, 연 날의 수, 마지막으로 광고가 보인 때를 이 기기 안에서만 세어 광고를 보일지 정합니다. 앱은 이 수를 어디로도 보내지 않으며(회사로도 보내지 않습니다), 앱을 지우면 함께 지워집니다. 책 · 읽은 기록 · 메모는 광고 요청에 싣지 않습니다.
• 광고 사업자가 앱 안의 광고 도구(SDK)로 자동 수집할 수 있는 것: 기기의 광고 ID(Android), IP 주소(대략적인 위치), 기기와 앱 정보, 광고 노출과 클릭, 광고 도구의 진단 · 비정상 종료 정보. iPhone · iPad에서는 앱이 추적 허용을 묻지 않아 광고 식별자(IDFA)를 쓰지 않습니다.
• 목적: 광고를 보이고, 광고 성과를 재고, 부정 클릭을 막습니다. 동의와 지역에 따라 맞춤형 광고에도 씁니다.
• 누가 받나 · 보유 기간: Google이 자기 개인정보처리방침에 따라 처리하고 보관합니다. 회사는 이 정보를 받지 않습니다.
• 동의(유럽 경제 지역 · 영국 · 스위스): 이 지역의 이용자에게는 Google의 동의 창(UMP)을 먼저 보이고, 그 단계를 마친 뒤에만 광고를 청합니다. 동의하지 않으면 맞춤이 아닌 광고(이 앱 · 대략의 위치 · 시간 같은 값으로 고름)가 보이며, 고른 것에 따라 광고가 더 제한될 수 있습니다.
• 거부 · 바꾸는 길: Android: 기기 설정 › Google › 광고에서 광고 ID를 삭제하거나 재설정할 수 있습니다. 유럽 경제 지역 · 영국 · 스위스: 앱 설정의 「개인정보 · 광고 선택」(이 지역에서만 보입니다)에서 고른 것을 바꿀 수 있습니다.
• 더 보기: Google 개인정보처리방침(https://policies.google.com/privacy) · Google이 광고를 고르는 방법(https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads) · Google이 자기 서비스를 쓰는 앱에서 받은 정보를 쓰는 방법(https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites).

이 칸은 앱 안에 자동 수집 장치(광고 SDK)를 두고 운영하는 것과 그것을 거부하는 방법을 알리는 것입니다(개인정보 보호법 제30조 제1항 제7호). 회사가 Google에 정보를 넘기거나 처리를 맡기는 것이 아니어서 5절(처리 위탁)과 6절(국외 이전)에는 넣지 않았습니다.

9. 지우는 길

• 책 하나 지우기: 책 화면 메뉴의 「이 책 지우기」 — 묻는 창 뒤 그 책과 읽은 기록, 메모, 옮겨 적은 문장, 표지 사진 사본을 이 기기에서 지웁니다. 되돌릴 수 없습니다.
• 메모 하나 · 읽은 기록 한 줄: 메모는 묻는 창 뒤 지웁니다(되돌릴 수 없고, 그 메모를 고치던 글도 함께 지웁니다). 읽은 기록 한 줄은 고치는 창의 「이 기록 지우기」로 지우고, 지운 바로 뒤 알림 줄의 「되돌리기」로 되살릴 수 있습니다. 묻는 창 뒤에 지운 것은 바로 전 판 보관본에서도 빠집니다.
• 기기의 기록 전부: 설정 › 정보의 「이 기기의 기록 지우기」 — 이 기기의 책, 읽은 기록, 메모(옮겨 적은 문장 · 태그), 쓰던 메모, 표지 사진 사본, 바로 전 판 보관본, 따로 둔 읽지 못한 파일, 내보낼 때 잠깐 둔 사본, 마지막 내보내기 때, 전에 로그인했던 회원 번호를 지웁니다. 홈 화면 위젯의 표도 비웁니다. 지우기 전에 확인 창이 지울 것을 세어 보여 줍니다. 설정과 모두 ID 로그인은 그대로 둡니다(로그인한 채 지우면 지금 회원 번호는 남습니다). 되돌릴 수 없고, 지우기 전에 「내 파일로 내보내기」로 파일을 만들어 둘 수 있습니다. 또는 앱을 지웁니다 — 이 기기의 기록이 지워집니다.
• 로그아웃: 기기에 둔 회원 번호와 아이디를 지우고 보안 저장소를 비웁니다. 기록은 그대로입니다. 지난 회원 번호는 「이 기기의 기록 지우기」 때 지웁니다.
• 기기 백업: 앱에서 지운 기록은 앱에서 되돌릴 수 없습니다. 다만 기기 백업(Android의 Google 백업 · iPhone의 iCloud 백업)을 켜 두었고 지우기 전에 백업이 만들어졌다면, 앱을 다시 설치하거나 기기를 그 백업으로 되살릴 때 지운 기록이 돌아올 수 있습니다. 지운 뒤에 만들어진 백업에는 지운 기록이 담기지 않습니다. 기기 백업은 이용자의 Google · Apple 계정에 암호화되어 저장되며, 회사는 그 백업에 접근하지 못합니다. 기기 백업은 기기의 설정에서 끄거나 지울 수 있습니다 — iPhone: 설정 → Apple 계정 → iCloud → 백업 → 모두 책장 끄기 · Android: 설정 → Google → 백업(기기에 따라 메뉴 이름이 조금 다를 수 있습니다).
• 내보낸 파일: 그 사람이 보낸 곳(파일, 드라이브, 메일 등)에서 그 사람이 지웁니다.
• 계정에 올린 기록: 이 판에는 없습니다.
• 모두 ID: 설정 › 정보의 「모두 ID 탈퇴」가 기기의 브라우저로 https://modoo.io/user/withdraw를 엽니다. 모두의 다른 앱도 함께 쓰는 계정입니다. 탈퇴해도 이 기기의 책과 메모는 지우지 않습니다.

1. Items processed

• Without signing in: The app sends nothing off your device on its own (for ads, see section 8). Books, reading records, notes and settings all work on the device. Cover photos are chosen with the device’s file picker, and the app does not use photo library permission.
• If you sign in with Modoo ID: Signing in is optional, and every feature works without it. Sign-in is handled by Modoo ID (mid.modoo.io) in your device’s browser window, and the app does not receive your password. To show the sign-in screen in your language, the address of the sign-in window carries the app’s display language and your device’s language preferences. After you sign in, the app receives your member number and username from Modoo ID and keeps them on the device. Your email address is not written to the device even if it is received. To notice when the account changes, the app keeps the previous member number on the device. This version has no feature that uploads records off the device, so signing in sends no books, reading records or notes to modoo.io.
• Kept only on the device: A records file in the app’s storage folder — books (title, author, format, number of pages, language, shelf), reading records (date, pages, minutes spent), notes, copied passages, tags, settings (display language, content language, e-book unit, sort order, the time a new day starts, in-app text size, when you last exported, whether you saw the first-run guide), notes being written (one for the new-note window and one for each note being edited — kept when you pause typing, when the app goes to the background or when you leave the window), and, if you signed in, your member number, username and previous member number. The version of the records file saved just before is kept as a backup copy. Books, notes and reading records you delete for good after a confirmation window are also removed from the backup copy in the same write. An unreadable records file is set aside next to it, not deleted, when you choose “Restore from backup” or “Start fresh”. A file written by a newer version of the app is neither opened nor written.
• Cover photos: A copy of each cover photo you choose is kept in the app’s storage folder. The chosen photo file is kept as it is, without shrinking or rewriting it, so information inside the photo such as where it was taken and the device also stays. The original that the file picker copied into the app’s temporary folder is deleted right after it is brought in. Cover photos are not included in exported files.
• Home screen widget (Android): The app keeps one table for the widget in its storage folder (titles of up to three books you are reading, progress text, the number of the book to open when tapped, and text for an empty widget and for the day the table runs out). Notes, copied passages, tags, authors, the account and books you are not reading are not included. If you turn on “Hide book titles on the widget” in Settings, titles are not included either. The widget does not communicate and does not wake the app. Other people can see your home screen. There is no widget on iPhone or iPad.
• Exporting and importing: Only when you tap “Export to a file” in Settings, the app makes all your books (reading records, notes, copied passages, tags) into two files (one that can be imported again and one that opens as a table) and hands them to the device’s share sheet. You choose where to keep them or whom to send them to; the app does not send them to a server. Cover photos, settings, member number and username are not included. No sign-in is needed. “Import a file exported from Modoo Shelf” reads the file you choose on the device and adds only books that aren’t there yet (books already there stay as they are).
• Taking out files set aside: Files the app set aside because it could not read them, and the backup copy saved just before, leave the device through the share sheet, unchanged, only when you tap “Take out files set aside” in Settings (shown only when there are such files) or “Save the unreadable file”. The app does not send them off the device on its own.
• Advertising: From the first public version, there is information that the advertising company (Google) may automatically collect through the ad tool (SDK) in the app (section 8).

2. Purpose of processing

Records are used only for you to note down the books you have read and are reading, your progress and your notes, and to see them again. The Modoo ID member number and username are used only for the app’s functions. Notes can hold your thoughts, so they stay on the device and are not used for advertising, statistics, personalized recommendations or AI, and are not read or analyzed. Ads are processed by Google AdMob only for the purposes in section 8.

3. Retention period

• Records and settings on the device: Until you delete them or delete the app. The same applies to the backup copy and the unreadable files set aside. Anything included in a device backup follows “Device backup” in section 9.
• Notes being written: Deleted when you save or discard them. When the app starts, text whose note being edited no longer exists is cleared.
• Cover photo copies: Deleted when you delete the book, remove the cover or close the add-book window. When the app starts, copies that no book points to are cleared.
• Member number and username on the device: Deleted when you sign out (records stay). The previous member number stays after signing out and is deleted by “Erase records on this device” (if you are signed in, only the current member number is kept).
• Secure storage on the device: Nothing is written there in this version. It is emptied when you sign out.
• Exported copies: The copies the app makes stay in the app’s temporary folder (a single copies folder). Each export empties the previous copies, and copies more than a day old are cleared when the app starts. “Erase records on this device” deletes these copies and also the copies the share and file-picker windows made in the temporary folder. Files in the place you sent them are managed by you.
• Records uploaded to the account: None in this version.
• Advertising: Retention of information processed by Google AdMob follows Google’s Privacy Policy. We do not receive this information (section 8).

4. Provision to third parties

None. Anything you send by choosing a recipient in the share sheet is sent by you.

5. Entrusted processing

This app has no server of its own. Sign-in is handled by Modoo ID (mid.modoo.io), and that processing follows the common Modoo privacy policy. Information the advertising company (Google) collects through the ad tool in the app is not processing we entrust to it, so it is not listed here (section 8).

7. Cookies, device storage and device permissions

• Cookies: The app does not use them. The sign-in window is opened by the device’s browser, and the cookies in that window belong to Modoo ID.
• Device storage: The records file and its backup copy from section 1, cover photo copies and the home screen widget’s table are kept in the app’s storage folder. Nothing is written to the device’s secure storage (iPhone Keychain, Android secure storage) in this version. If you turn on device backup (Android Auto Backup, iCloud device backup on iPhone), the operating system may include the records file and its backup copy in your backup. This is not something the app sends. Android’s cloud backup leaves out the cover photo folder (covers do move when transferring from device to device). On iPhone and iPad, the app support folder (records and covers) is included in device backup.
• Device permissions (Android): Internet — Modoo ID sign-in and ads. In the version that carries ads, the ads SDK adds network state, advertising ID (AD_ID), Android ad services (ACCESS_ADSERVICES_AD_ID, ATTRIBUTION, TOPICS), keeping the device awake (WAKE_LOCK) and foreground service (FOREGROUND_SERVICE — internal SDK work) permissions (section 8). You are not asked for these permissions.
• Device permissions (iPhone and iPad): No permission is asked. The app does not show the tracking permission prompt.
• Not used: Photo library, camera, location, contacts, notifications. Choosing covers, exporting and importing use the device’s file picker and share sheet, and no separate permission is asked for them.

8. Advertising

From the first public version, only one Google AdMob app open ad — only for frequent users (after 7 days since installing and more than 5 days on which the app was opened), once a day when you open the app or come back after being away for more than 30 minutes. There are no ads for the first few days, and the ad does not cover a note you are writing or something you are doing. The first version has no house ads or rewarded ads, and no usage analytics tool, error-collection tool, payments or subscriptions.

• Advertising company: Google LLC (Google AdMob) — chooses and shows the ad that can appear up to once a day when you open the app.
• What the app does: The app counts, only on this device, when you first opened the app, how many days you have opened it and when an ad last appeared, and decides from these counts whether to show an ad. The app never sends these counts anywhere (not to us either), and they are deleted when you delete the app. Your books, reading records and notes are not put in ad requests.
• What the advertising company may automatically collect through the ad tool (SDK) in the app: Your device’s advertising ID (Android), IP address (approximate location), device and app information, ad impressions and clicks, and the ad tool’s diagnostic and crash information. On iPhone and iPad the app does not ask for tracking permission, so the advertising identifier (IDFA) is not used.
• Purpose: To show ads, measure ad performance and prevent fraudulent clicks — and, depending on consent and region, for personalized ads.
• Who receives it and retention: Google processes and keeps it under its own privacy policy. We do not receive this information.
• Consent (EEA, UK and Switzerland): Users in these regions first see Google’s consent window (UMP), and ads are requested only after that step is completed. If you do not consent, you see non-personalized ads (chosen from things like this app, your approximate location and the time), and depending on your choices ads may be further limited.
• How to refuse or change: Android: you can delete or reset your advertising ID in device Settings › Google › Ads. EEA, UK and Switzerland: you can change your choices under “Privacy & ad choices” in the app’s settings (shown only in these regions).

This section explains the automatic collection tool (ads SDK) installed and operated in the app and how to refuse it (Personal Information Protection Act, Article 30(1)7). We do not hand information to Google or entrust processing to it, so Google is not listed in section 5 (entrusted processing) or section 6 (overseas transfer).

9. How to delete

• Deleting one book: “Delete this book” in the book screen’s menu — after a confirmation window, deletes that book and its reading records, notes, copied passages and cover photo copy from this device. This cannot be undone.
• One note or one reading record: A note is deleted after a confirmation window (this cannot be undone, and text being edited for that note is deleted too). One reading record is deleted with “Delete this record” in its edit window, and right after deleting you can bring it back with “Undo” in the notice. Anything deleted after a confirmation window is also removed from the backup copy saved just before.
• All records on the device: “Erase records on this device” in Settings › About — deletes this device’s books, reading records, notes (copied passages and tags), notes being written, cover photo copies, the backup copy saved just before, unreadable files set aside, copies kept briefly when exporting, when you last exported, and the member numbers that previously signed in. The home screen widget’s table is emptied too. Before deleting, a confirmation window counts and shows what will be deleted. Settings and your Modoo ID sign-in stay (if you erase while signed in, the current member number stays). This cannot be undone; before erasing you can make a file with “Export to a file”. Or delete the app — the records on this device are deleted.
• Sign out: Deletes the member number and username kept on the device and empties secure storage. Records stay. The previous member number is deleted by “Erase records on this device”.
• Device backup: Records you delete in the app cannot be restored from within the app. However, if device backup (Google backup on Android, iCloud Backup on iPhone) is on and a backup was made before you deleted them, the deleted records may come back when you reinstall the app or restore your device from that backup. Backups made after the deletion do not contain the deleted records. Device backups are stored encrypted in your own Google or Apple account, and we cannot access them. You can turn off or delete device backups in your device settings — iPhone: Settings → Apple Account → iCloud → Backup → turn off Modoo Shelf · Android: Settings → Google → Backup (menu names may vary slightly by device).
• Exported files: You delete them in the place you sent them to (Files, a drive, email and so on).
• Records uploaded to the account: None in this version.
• Modoo ID: “Delete Modoo ID” in Settings › About opens https://modoo.io/user/withdraw in the device’s browser. It is an account shared with other Modoo apps. Deleting it does not delete the books and notes on this device.

1. 取り扱う項目

• ログインせずに使うとき: アプリが自ら端末の外に送る情報はありません（広告は8）。本、読書の記録、メモ、設定はすべて端末の中で動きます。表紙の写真は端末のファイル選択の画面で選び、写真ライブラリの権限は使いません。
• モドゥIDでログインすると: ログインは任意で、しなくてもすべての機能を使えます。ログインはモドゥID（mid.modoo.io）が端末のブラウザーの画面で処理し、アプリはパスワードを受け取りません。ログイン画面を利用者の言語で表示するため、ログイン画面のアドレスに画面の言語と端末の言語の優先順を載せます。ログインが終わると、アプリはモドゥIDから会員番号とユーザー名を受け取り、端末に記録します。メールアドレスは受け取っても端末に記録しません。アカウントが替わったことに気づくため、以前の会員番号を端末に残します。この版には記録を端末の外にアップロードする機能がないため、ログインしても modoo.io に本・読書の記録・メモを送りません。
• 端末の中だけに残るもの: アプリの保存フォルダーの記録ファイル — 本（タイトル、著者、形態、ページ数、言語、棚）、読書の記録（日付、ページ、かかった分数）、メモ、書き写した文、タグ、設定（画面の言語、コンテンツの言語、電子書籍の単位、並び順、一日の切り替わりの時刻、アプリ内の文字の大きさ、最後に書き出した日時、最初の案内を見たかどうか）、書きかけのメモ（新しいメモの画面と編集中のメモごとにひとつ — 入力の途中で少し止まったとき、アプリが背面に回ったとき、画面を離れたときに残します）、ログインしていれば会員番号・ユーザー名・以前の会員番号。記録ファイルの直前の版をひとつ保管コピーとして置きます。確認の画面のあとで完全に削除した本・メモ・読書の記録は、その書き込みで保管コピーからも除かれます。読めなかった記録ファイルは、利用者が「保管コピーから復元」または「新しく始める」を選んだとき、削除せず横に別に置きます。新しい版のアプリが書いたファイルは開かず書き込みません。
• 表紙の写真: 利用者が選んだ表紙の写真のコピーをアプリの保存フォルダーに置きます。選んだ写真ファイルを縮めたり書き直したりせずそのまま置くため、写真に含まれる撮影場所・端末などの情報もそのまま残ります。ファイル選択の画面がアプリの一時フォルダーに写した元のファイルは、取り込んだ直後に削除します。表紙の写真は書き出したファイルに含めません。
• ホーム画面ウィジェット（Android）: ウィジェットが読む表をひとつ（読んでいる本3冊までのタイトル、進み具合の文、押すと開く本の番号、空のウィジェットと表が尽きた日の文）アプリの保存フォルダーに置きます。メモ、書き写した文、タグ、著者、アカウント、読んでいない本は入れません。設定の「ウィジェットで本のタイトルを隠す」をオンにすると、タイトルも入れません。ウィジェットは通信せず、アプリを起こしません。ホーム画面はほかの人も見ることができます。iPhone・iPad にはウィジェットはありません。
• 書き出しと読み込み: 利用者が設定の「ファイルに書き出す」を押したときだけ、本すべて（読書の記録、メモ、書き写した文、タグ）を2つのファイル（もう一度読み込めるファイルと表として開くファイル）にして端末の共有画面に渡します。どこに置くか、誰に送るかは利用者が選び、アプリはサーバーに送りません。表紙の写真、設定、会員番号とユーザー名は入れません。ログインは要りません。「モドゥ本棚から書き出したファイルを読み込む」は、利用者が選んだファイルを端末の中で読み、ない本だけを足します（ある本は変えません）。
• 取っておいたファイルの取り出し: アプリが読めずに横に置いたファイルと直前の保管コピーは、利用者が設定の「取っておいたファイルを取り出す」（そのようなファイルがあるときだけ表示されます）または「読めなかったファイルを取り出す」を押したときだけ、手を加えずそのまま端末の共有画面から外に出ます。アプリが自ら端末の外に送ることはありません。
• 広告: 最初の公開版から、広告事業者（Google）がアプリ内の広告ツール（SDK）で自動的に収集しうる情報があります（8）。

2. 取り扱いの目的

記録は、利用者が読んだ本と読んでいる本、進み具合、メモを書き留めて見返すためだけに使います。モドゥIDの会員番号とユーザー名はアプリの機能にだけ使います。メモには利用者の考えが含まれることがあるため、端末の中に置き、広告、統計、おすすめ、AI に使わず、読んで分析しません。広告は8の目的に限って Google AdMob が取り扱います。

3. 保有期間

• 端末の記録・設定: 利用者が削除するか、アプリを削除するまで。保管コピーと別に置いた読めなかったファイルも同じです。端末のバックアップに含まれたものは、9の「端末のバックアップ」に従います。
• 書きかけのメモ: 保存するか破棄したときに削除します。アプリを開いたとき、編集中だったメモがなくなった文を片付けます。
• 表紙の写真のコピー: 本を削除したとき、表紙を外したとき、本の追加を閉じたときに削除します。アプリを開いたとき、どの本も指していないコピーを片付けます。
• 端末の会員番号・ユーザー名: ログアウトすると消します（記録はそのまま）。以前の会員番号はログアウト後も残り、「この端末の記録を消す」で消します（ログインしたままなら、今の会員番号だけを残します）。
• 端末の安全な保存領域: この版では何も書き込みません。ログアウトすると空にします。
• 書き出したコピー: アプリが作ったコピーは、アプリの一時フォルダー（コピー用のフォルダーひとつ）に残ります。書き出すたびに前のコピーを空にし、アプリを開いたときに1日を過ぎたコピーを片付けます。「この端末の記録を消す」は、このコピーと、共有・ファイル選択の画面が一時フォルダーに写したコピーまで消します。利用者が送った先のファイルは、利用者が管理します。
• アカウントにアップロードした記録: この版にはありません。
• 広告: Google AdMob が取り扱う情報の保有は、Google のプライバシーポリシーに従います。当社はこの情報を受け取りません（8）。

4. 第三者への提供

ありません。利用者が共有画面で送り先を選んで送ったものは、利用者が送ったものです。

5. 取り扱いの委託

このアプリは独自のサーバーを持ちません。ログインはモドゥID（mid.modoo.io）が担当し、その取り扱いはモドゥ共通の方針に従います。広告事業者（Google）がアプリ内の広告ツールで収集する情報は、当社が委託する取り扱いではないため、ここには載せません（8）。

7. クッキー・端末内の保存領域・端末の権限

• クッキー: アプリは使いません。ログイン画面は端末のブラウザーが表示し、その画面のクッキーはモドゥIDのものです。
• 端末内の保存領域: 1の記録ファイルとその保管コピー、表紙の写真のコピー、ホーム画面ウィジェットの表は、アプリの保存フォルダーに置きます。端末の安全な保存領域（iPhone のキーチェーン、Android の安全な保存領域）には、この版では何も書き込みません。端末のバックアップ（Android の自動バックアップ、iPhone の iCloud バックアップ）をオンにすると、OS が記録ファイルと保管コピーを利用者のバックアップに入れることがあります。アプリが送るものではありません。Android のクラウドバックアップでは表紙の写真のフォルダーを除きます（端末から端末へ移すときは表紙も移ります）。iPhone・iPad では、アプリのサポートフォルダー（記録と表紙）が端末のバックアップの対象です。
• 端末の権限（Android）: インターネット — モドゥIDのログインと広告。広告を載せる版では、広告 SDK がネットワーク状態の確認、広告 ID（AD_ID）、Android の広告サービス（ACCESS_ADSERVICES_AD_ID・ATTRIBUTION・TOPICS）、スリープの防止（WAKE_LOCK）、フォアグラウンドサービス（FOREGROUND_SERVICE — SDK 内部の処理）の権限を加えます（8）。これらの権限は利用者に尋ねません。
• 端末の権限（iPhone・iPad）: 尋ねる権限はありません。トラッキングの許可を求める画面を表示しません。
• 使わないもの: 写真ライブラリ、カメラ、位置情報、連絡先、通知。表紙の選択、書き出し、読み込みは端末のファイル選択の画面と共有画面を使い、そのために別に権限を尋ねません。

8. 広告

最初の公開版から、Google AdMob のアプリ起動時広告ひとつだけを載せます — よく使う方にだけ（インストールから7日が過ぎ、アプリを開いた日が5日を超えたあと）、アプリを開くとき、または30分を超えて離れたあとに戻ったときに一日一回。最初の数日は広告がなく、書きかけのメモや作業中の画面の上には表示しません。自社の告知広告とリワード広告は最初の版にはなく、利用統計ツール、エラー収集ツール、課金・サブスクリプションは組み込んでいません。

• 広告事業者: Google LLC（Google AdMob）— アプリを開くときに一日一回まで表示される広告を選び、表示します。
• アプリが行うこと: アプリを初めて開いた日時、開いた日数、最後に広告を表示した日時をこの端末の中だけで数え、広告を表示するかどうかを決めます。アプリはこの値をどこにも送らず（当社にも送りません）、アプリを削除すると一緒に削除されます。本・読書の記録・メモは広告のリクエストに含めません。
• 広告事業者がアプリ内の広告ツール（SDK）で自動的に収集しうるもの: 端末の広告 ID（Android）、IP アドレス（おおよその位置）、端末とアプリの情報、広告の表示とクリック、広告ツールの診断・クラッシュ情報。iPhone・iPad では、アプリがトラッキングの許可を求めないため、広告識別子（IDFA）を使いません。
• 目的: 広告の表示、広告の成果の測定、不正なクリックの防止。同意と地域によっては、パーソナライズされた広告にも使います。
• 受け取る者・保有期間: Google が自社のプライバシーポリシーに従って取り扱い、保管します。当社はこの情報を受け取りません。
• 同意（欧州経済領域・英国・スイス）: これらの地域の利用者には、まず Google の同意画面（UMP）を表示し、その手続きが終わったあとにだけ広告を求めます。同意しない場合はパーソナライズされていない広告（このアプリ・おおよその位置・時刻などで選ぶ）が表示され、選択によっては広告がさらに制限されることがあります。
• 拒否・変更の方法: Android：端末の設定 › Google › 広告 で広告 ID を削除・リセットできます。欧州経済領域・英国・スイス：アプリの設定の「プライバシーと広告の選択」（これらの地域でのみ表示されます）で選択を変更できます。
• 詳しく: Google プライバシーポリシー（https://policies.google.com/privacy）・Google が広告を選ぶ方法（https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads）・Google のサービスを使うアプリから得た情報の使い方（https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites）。

この項は、アプリ内に自動収集の仕組み（広告 SDK）を設置・運用していることと、それを拒否する方法をお知らせするものです（個人情報保護法第30条第1項第7号）。当社が Google に情報を渡したり取り扱いを委託したりするものではないため、5（取り扱いの委託）と6（国外移転）には載せていません。

9. 削除する方法

• 本ひとつを削除: 本の画面のメニューの「この本を削除」— 確認の画面のあと、その本と読書の記録、メモ、書き写した文、表紙の写真のコピーをこの端末から削除します。元に戻せません。
• メモひとつ・読書の記録1行: メモは確認の画面のあとで削除します（元に戻せず、そのメモの編集中の文も一緒に削除します）。読書の記録1行は編集画面の「この記録を削除」で削除し、削除した直後はお知らせの「元に戻す」で戻せます。確認の画面のあとで削除したものは、直前の保管コピーからも除かれます。
• 端末の記録すべて: 設定 › 情報 の「この端末の記録を消す」— この端末の本、読書の記録、メモ（書き写した文・タグ）、書きかけのメモ、表紙の写真のコピー、直前の保管コピー、別に置いた読めなかったファイル、書き出すときに一時的に置いたコピー、最後に書き出した日時、以前ログインした会員番号を消します。ホーム画面ウィジェットの表も空にします。消す前に、確認の画面が消すものを数えて表示します。設定とモドゥIDのログインはそのままです（ログインしたまま消すと、今の会員番号は残ります）。元に戻せません。消す前に「ファイルに書き出す」でファイルを作っておけます。または、アプリを削除します — この端末の記録が削除されます。
• ログアウト: 端末に置いた会員番号とユーザー名を消し、安全な保存領域を空にします。記録はそのままです。以前の会員番号は「この端末の記録を消す」で消します。
• 端末のバックアップ: アプリで削除した記録は、アプリから元に戻すことはできません。ただし、端末のバックアップ（AndroidのGoogleバックアップ・iPhoneのiCloudバックアップ）がオンで、削除する前にバックアップが作られていた場合、アプリを入れ直したり端末をそのバックアップから復元したりすると、削除した記録が戻ることがあります。削除した後に作られたバックアップには、削除した記録は含まれません。端末のバックアップは利用者ご自身のGoogle・Appleアカウントに暗号化して保存され、当社はそのバックアップにアクセスできません。端末のバックアップは端末の設定でオフにしたり削除したりできます — iPhone：設定 → Apple アカウント → iCloud → バックアップ → モドゥ本棚 をオフ・Android：設定 → Google → バックアップ（端末によってメニュー名が少し異なる場合があります）。
• 書き出したファイル: 利用者が送った先（ファイル、ドライブ、メールなど）で、利用者が削除します。
• アカウントにアップロードした記録: この版にはありません。
• モドゥID: 設定 › 情報 の「モドゥIDの退会」が、端末のブラウザーで https://modoo.io/user/withdraw を開きます。モドゥのほかのアプリとも共通のアカウントです。退会しても、この端末の本とメモは削除しません。
